Cheers darlin' Cancer Research - this is what it is all about, when all said and done. 365 days a year these folks are working to save the lives of people like me and you - please take a moment to take a browse around the site - it is very interesting, you never know - you might learn something!! The Friendship Inn - 188 Old Street, Ashton-u-lyne. This is where I work as a DJ on Friday nights. Good atmosphere, and as the name says, friendly. Excellent food served at reasonable prices. Bikers welcome, as is everyone else. Belle - from the Thunderonline forum - and her wonderful Mum, who has offered to let us camp in her garden while we are in Dumfries, saving us the cost of a campsite - Thanx!! Cafe Monde - 195 Stamford Street Ashton-u-lyne. My favourite cafe - and with good reason. Andy - the owner- makes everyone welcome and the food is second to none. I can highly recommend the Steak and chips!

Sleningford Watermill camping and caravan park
The wonderful people here offered me a free pitch for this charity event. The site is in a beautiful location at North Stainley, North Yorks - just near Lightwater Valley. If you are ever in the area and need a campsite - this is THE place to be. Take a look at the site. I used to live in the village of North Stainley so I know the site quite well.
M & M minis
Based in Warrington, they have 500,000 new and used spares for minis and metros, including panels, wheels, engines and much more. If you are looking for secondhand parts this is probably your best bet. Huge stocks and very helpful staff.
Minisport
These are based in Padiham, Lancs. I had Spade rolling-road tuned here and they were wonderful. It has made such a difference - I highly recommend having your mini booked in for a tune. They also have a large showroom full of goodies for classic and BMW minis.
Tyddyn Llwyn Caravan and Touring Park
A lovely campsite just outside Portmadog, again the friendly staff here offered me a free place for this event - aren't they wonderful?? And they are THUNDER fans too!! This family run site is perfectly situated in partially wooded countryside within walking distance of Portmadog and Borth-Y-Gest, and the gorgeous Black Rock Sands beach is a few minutes drive away.
H2004:BEACHED
Scarborough Beach Festival, Tons of Bands, free admission, right on the beach!! What more could you want? 17th and 18th August Thunder Headlining on Saturday night and Ropachford Headlining on Sunday night. Get down there if you can - I will be there and so will the mini. Thanks to Mike for letting me and Spade on site to do a collection!!!!
Brook Lodge Caravan and Camping Park
A Family Run park and lovely countryside. Owners are pleasant and friendly and gave me a reduced rate for this trip - thankyou. The site has a 3 star rating and is well situated with plenty to sdo in the surrounding area.
